The Lady Toppers held Troy to just three runs combined the entire weekend. In Saturday’s annual Cardinal and White Trojan football scrimmage, Coach Larry Blakeney was pleased with the performance of the Troy Trojans. The White won the scrimmage 22-14. Usually, the goals of a spring scrimmage are to practice in a game environment and work on fundamentals with no injuries and coach mistakes that players can sometimes make. Men’s Golf Closes Season with Sixth Place Finish

 MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – The Troy men’s golf team ended its 2012-13 season on Wednesday with a sixth-place finish in the final round of the Sun Belt Conference Men’s Golf Championships at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.   Limited play was completed early this morning before rain moved into the area that suspended play until approximately 11:30 a.m. From there the wet course plagued a majority of the teams as the Trojans fell to a 20-over, 308, to wrap-up the 54-hole event in sixth out of 11 teams.  …
