Ty Ammons Staff Writer The Troy University baseball team swept conference opponent Appalachian State in a three-game home series this past weekend, but it lost in extra innings to rival Jacksonville State on Tuesday, April 12. Ty Ammons Staff Writer The Troy University baseball team beat New Orleans on Saturday, April 2, and Sunday, April 3, as well as Samford  on Tuesday, April 5. Baseball and softball programs add coaches

Ty Ammons Staff Writer The Troy University baseball and softball teams have hired additional assistant coaches this year, Blake Beck and Jaycee Affeldt, respectively. The baseball team hired Beck, a native of Hamilton, who served two years as Troy’s video coordinator and two years as Mississippi State’s video coordinator, a position he left last year.
