Ryan Lee  Contributor  The start of Troy’s 2014 soccer season is just around the corner, and the era of a new head coach is also about to dawn. Head coach Jason Hamilton, who previously held coaching positions at the University of Miami and the University of Florida, has reported that preseason practices are going well. Troy announces new women’s soccer coach

Jill Odom Sports Editor   Troy named their new women’s soccer head coach, Jason Hamilton, on Monday, Jan. 27, after previous head coach Chris Bentley accepted a position with Colorado State the past week. Bentley was head coach for Troy for six seasons and the team posted the best six season winning span in program history. Hamilton spent the past season as an assistant coach with the Florida Gators and focused on training goalkeepers and defense.
