Men’s tennis extends its winning streak to seven

Ty Ammons Staff Writer The Troy Trojans men’s tennis team bumped its win streak up to seven with a pair of weekend wins against Xavier University of Louisiana on Friday, March 20, and Columbus State on Saturday, March 21. The women’s team was not as successful, as it dropped two matches during the weekend On Friday, March 20, Troy won four singles matches and left one unfinished. Women’s Initiative focuses on the rights and equality of women to “educate students, faculty and members of the community of all genders, races, creeds and political affiliations of the current issues facing women,” according to the Troy University website.
