Her performances this week contributed to the team’s overall results. Baker has always shined throughout her career at Troy. The 2021 season was her best season for pitching statistics. By the end of the meet, the Trojans had 11 athletes place with Kady Schwietz competed in seven total events. Schwietz placed fourth in the 100m hurdles, second in the high jump, sixth in shot put, fourth in 200m, second in the long jump and 10th in the javelin throw. by Logan Pittman Troy football wrapped up its second spring training under Head Coach Jon Sumrall this past Saturday with its annual T-Day game. The game consisted of four, fifteen-minute quarters with a running clock and a five-minute halftime. T-Day concluded with a score of 36-22 with White defeating Black. In a matchup that saw 44 total hits, 38 runs and 13 home runs, the Trojans came up just short, losing 10-7 last Sunday. True freshman KK Mathis provided the main spark for the Dukes’ offense.
