Hawkins announces retirement plan
Chancellor Dr. Jack Hawkins, Jr. has announced his plan for full retirement in 2028. This announcement comes just a little over a year after his previous announcement, and renouncement, of his retirement, which was delayed by the Board of Trustees. The announcement of Hawkins’ plan came early this morning through an email sent to all Troy students, faculty and staff. Zerian Hudson - Staying the Course
Change. Adversity. Triumph. These are all things Zerian Hudson has experienced over his football career. The senior offensive lineman was recruited out of Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in 2023. Hudson announced his commitment to Troy following a visit that season. SGA gathers, recognizes semester's achievements
The Student Government Association (SGA) gathered in the senate chamber to recognize their biggest accomplishments of the semester on Wednesday. For the press conference, members of the executive council, presidential cabinet and the University Honors Global Scholars Program assembled to recognize what SGA President Caleb Smith called an unprecedented semester. Trojans fall to Old Dominion
Troy football faced a major setback in a shutout loss to Old Dominion, 33-0 at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Thursday night. The game began with a thundering hit by Troy’s AZ Williams on the opening kickoff to start Old Dominion off on its own 13-yard line. Volleyball splits final regular-season series on the road
The Troy volleyball team split its final regular season series against App State in Boone, North Carolina to close out its season before heading down to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. Friday night, the Trojans took down the Mountaineers in a five-set match, with Amiah Butler leading with 26 kills on a .368 hitting percentage. Students, faculty come together to honor Indigenous authors
Sigma Tau Delta celebrated Indigenous voices in literature by holding an Indigenous Peoples Read-In last Wednesday afternoon in Smith Hall 267. This was the English Honor Society’s first ever Indigenous Peoples Read-In.
