The Trojans own a 9-9 spring record thanks to a 4-0 win over Presbyterian, a 4-1 win over Coastal Carolina and a 4-0 loss to William and Mary. Michael Shipma Sports Editor Following a 2-6 start to the spring season, the men’s tennis team exploded for three straight wins, including two at the HEB College Classic hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. The Trojans got off to a rough start in their first match of the tournament, falling to the hosts 4-0 on Friday. The Trojans were handed their fourth loss of the spring season after the Golden Eagles swept doubles play to take the early point. Men’s tennis wraps up fall season at CCB Invitational

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy men’s tennis team competed in the CCB Invitational over the weekend and faced both highs and lows during its tournament play. The tournament was hosted by the University of Alabama and included 11 teams. The Trojans’ Antonia Selma won his draw 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 over his Portland opponent. This win advanced him into Saturday’s second round against UAB. Selma, paired with Mustapha Belacora, won their doubles match 8-4 against the University of South Alabama.
