Michael Shipma Staff Writer The Troy soccer team’s season came to a close on Sunday, Nov. 9, when it fell to South Alabama 1-0 in the Sun Belt Conference championship game. The Trojans won their first two games of the tournament 1-0 against UL Lafayette and Texas State. With 12 wins this season, the Trojans (12-5, 4-3 Sun Belt) have won more games than any other Troy soccer team since the team’s first season in 1997.
