Adobe Express EDU now available to students with Mac products

Last Tuesday, students received an email announcing new access to “Adobe Express EDU.”

The announcement arrived in students’ inboxes after the university renewed its contract of Adobe products.

“Adobe Express EDU is a comprehensive, user-friendly design tool that enables students to create high-quality graphics, web pages and video stories in minutes,” said Vice Chancellor of Information Technology Dr. Greg Price. “It’s designed to help users produce visually appealing content without needing extensive graphic design skills.

“This tool is designed to be intuitive, allowing you to bring your ideas to life without needing advanced design skills. Imagine the possibilities as you explore Adobe Express, whether for academic assignments, personal projects or organizational activities.”

Students can access Adobe Express EDU, free of charge, through their creative campus portal. There, students can also find detailed guides on how to make the most of Adobe Express EDU in their academic and personal projects.

Students with Macintosh computers and PCs can take advantage of Adobe Express EDU’s latest features.

“Beyond basic design capabilities, Adobe Express EDU provides access to a vast library of templates, stock photos, icons and fonts,” Price said. “It also includes advanced editing tools like background removal, AI-driven generative capabilities and collaborative features that allow students to work together on projects in real time.”

With artificial intelligence (AI) literacy becoming more prevalent in the workforce, Price explained how Adobe Express EDU can place students ahead of competition.

“Adobe Express EDU is more than just a tool for creating assignments – it’s a gateway to digital literacy and creativity that can prepare students for the workforce,” Price said. “By integrating this powerful tool into our educational resources, Troy University is committed to enhancing the learning experience and providing students with essential digital skills that are highly valued in today’s job market.”
