“It's not that far, so you could still walk if you wanted to.

“For the most off campus housing, I feel like this is the most on campus.”

The Edge also offers fun activities for their residents to enjoy such as giveaways, contests, trivia nights and free food.

“They do a lot of cool things here,” McPherson stated.

“It's nice to have that privacy at the gym.”

“It's a little secluded because we’re surrounded by trees, but I think that’s an advantage because people don’t know we’re here, so trouble doesn’t know we’re here,” Martin said.

“You can experience what it means to be living off campus but in a safe atmosphere.”

Ivy Row

Ivy Row is another off-campus alternative for students. The apartments offer two, three and four bedroom options.

Shiver expressed how she appreciates the setup of the apartments.

“It's nice having your own room and your own space whereas a dorm doesn’t always give you that option.”

She also shared a couple things about Ivy Row that has made her stay enjoyable.

“It's really convenient,” Shiver said. “It takes me like five minutes to get to campus and I definitely take advantage of the pool when it’s warm.”

“I'd say I've had a more positive experience,” Shiver said.

“I think it gives you a really good taste of what it’s like to live on your own.
