Juliana Bolivar Sanchez has a background in small business development, operations and brand development and marketing. “I am excited to get to know the entrepreneurs and businesses in our area and help them meet their goals for growth,” Sanchez said. Before joining Troy’s staff, Sanchez worked as a small business consultant at the Community Action Development Corporation of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.She also launched a MotoGP-themed sports bar and grill and managedthe finance, marketing and operations of the business. Sanchez received her bachelor’s degree in International Business Management from Moravian College and also has a Business Plan Development and Data Management Certificate from the University of Medellin. In addition to her new position at Troy, Sanchezserves as a board member and development committee chair of Turning Point of Lehigh Valley, a nonprofit organization based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, which aides in domestic violence prevention. “Julianna brings energy and experience to the (Small Business Development Center) that will enable Troy University to better serve small businesses in our area,” said Walter Givhan, Troy’s Senior Vice Chancellor for Advancement and Economic Development.
