Troy Baseball is officially one step closer to being on the clock. This past week, the team released their official schedule for the 2025 campaign.
The schedule holds 56 games in total – 29 will be played in Riddle-Pace Field. The Trojans are slated to take on some talented teams this year – seven opposing teams made the NCAA Regional Tournament last season, and 13 teams finished within the top-100 of the NCAA RPI Rankings.
“Our goal is to put ourselves in a position if you play well, win games and win on the road, then you are in the RPI hunt, come the end of May,” head coach Skylar Meade told Troy Athletics.
Last year, Troy finished the season ranked 21st in RPI. That ranking is both the highest in school history and the only top-25 ranking the Trojans have seen since 2013.
This year, Troy has six in-state rivals scheduled – the earliest being Feb. 18, when they travel to take on the Auburn Tigers. However, on Feb. 26, UAB will be welcomed to Riddle-Pace Field. The Trojans also have dates with Alabama, Alabama State, Samford and Jacksonville State.
They will be travelling to Alabama State on Feb. 22. . The showdown with Samford is scheduled for May 7.. On the home side of things, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks will begin their trip to Riddle Pace Field on April 29. .

Baseball fans have a few months of waiting left as the first series of the season isn’t set until February. Over the span of two days, the Trojans will open their season against Saint Louis on Feb. 14-15.
