Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy soccer team won a conference rivalry game against South Alabama to finish up regular season play before falling in the Sun Belt Conference tournamnent to Texas State. The match against South Alabama was played at The Cage in Mobile, Alabama, as Troy won 1-0.  Kate Lorenz gave Troy the 1-0 lead after the game’s only goal in the 57th minute. Dylan Hurst Staff Writer Troy soccer fell into an early hole and could not find an answer as Little Rock defended its home turf with a 5-0 win on Friday in Sun Belt Conference action. Little Rock (11-3-2, 6-1-1 Sun Belt) got first half goals from Jaclyn Purvine, Fanney Einarsdotir and Doro Greulich while Troy managed just two shots in the opening 45 minutes and four in the game. Dylan Hurst Staff Writer Troy fell 4-1 at home in Sun Belt Conference play against an offense-heavy Arkansas State team on Friday.  In the 38th minute, Arkansas State’s Taylor Schneider caught a pass from teammate Haley Husted and scored the first goal of the game.  In the 41st minute, Husted caught a pass from the right wing and scored on a rush to the net, bringing the score to 2-0 in the Red Wolves’ favor. Troy and Georgia State scored a total of five goals, all of which came in the final 41 minutes of the game.
