Daniel Hunt Staff Writer The Troy women’s basketball team (17-5, 8-3 Sun Belt) hit the road last weekend to face Arkansas’ Sun Belt duo of Little Rock and Arkansas State. Troy topped the Red Wolves, but fell to Little Rock, the team with the best conference record (14-8, 10-1 Sun Belt). Troy lost to the Trojans of Little Rock on Thursday in a tight 72-76 loss, but were able to leave Arkansas on a good note after getting the win against Arkansas State (9-13, 4-7 Sun Belt) on Saturday. Dylan Hurst Staff Writer Troy sailed to a 77-58 home victory over North Alabama on Saturday morning. The Trojans shot a season-high 52.6 percent (30-of-57) from the floor for the win. The Trojans also hit another season-high mark during the game. The Lions were held to only 32.2 percent (19-of-59) from the field.
