The teams combined racked up 14 match wins on the opening day on Friday, Oct. 24. Men’s golf finishes last fall tournament in second

Jill Odom Sports Editor   The Troy men’s golf team finished up The Intercollegiate at The Grove Club and took home second place on Tuesday, Oct. 28. The team started off Sunday, Oct. 26, with the sixth best round in program history with 279. The Trojans were only three shots off the previous 2009 and 2005 record of 276. The Trojans (14-5, 6-3 Sun Belt) recorded their 11th shutout of the season this weekend and moved up to second in the Sun Belt standings going into the conference tournament.
