By the end of the meet, the Trojans had 11 athletes place with Kady Schwietz competed in seven total events. Schwietz placed fourth in the 100m hurdles, second in the high jump, sixth in shot put, fourth in 200m, second in the long jump and 10th in the javelin throw. Track races to seven 1st-place finishes
by Dylan Seymore Troy put on a dominating performance in the South Florida Invitational with seven first-place performances, three second-place performances and four third-place performances. Javon Osbourne finished at the top of the leaderboard for men’s shot put and discus. Osbourne and his teammate Anthony Symile went against each other in, not one, but two competitions in discus and shot put. In the end, Symile had to settle for second and third as his final throw in discus landed 51.65m while Osbourne hit 58.47m to claim the first-place position. In…

Several Trojans saw gold during the two-day event. In the 1500m event, the men’s team came to conquer.
