Emma Daniel Editor-in-Chief Rep. John Lewis’s life was honored at a memorial service on Saturday, where he lied in rest before making one last trip from Selma to Montgomery. Troy University was the first stop of six memorials before Lewis is honored at the Capitol. Hanna Cooper Sports Editor Rep. John Lewis, a civil rights leader and Troy native, passed away Friday at the age of 80 after being diagnosed with cancer in December.   Lewis was raised on a cotton farm in Troy attending public schools in the city with dreams of becoming a minister.   Lewis went on to receive a B.A in religion and philosophy from Fisk University. Troy announces move online after Thanksgiving, masks required

Emma Daniel Editor-in-Chief   Troy University will be returning to campus for Fall 2020, but with mask requirements, social distancing guidelines, coronavirus testing, and no return to campus after Thanksgiving break, according to a university email sent Wednesday evening. Face coverings will be required on campus in places where social distancing is difficult, such as in classrooms, labs, and communal spaces.
