Baseball swings into action

Troy University’s baseball team bashed 10 home runs on the way to an opening weekend sweep of the University of Evansville, and dismantled Alabama State University 10-2 on Tuesday.  Second-year head coach Skylar Meade has yet to lose a game on opening weekend, going 7-0 in games to start the year. Softball Wraps Troy Invitational

by Logan Pittman Troy Softball played host to the Troy Invitational this past weekend. The invitational lasted over a span of three days.  The Trojans had a strong start to the invitational. They handled both Kennesaw State and Murray State on Friday with 6-1 and 4-2 victories.  Jade Sinness recorded her first home run of the season to start off the bottom of the third against Kennesaw State.
