Troy announces move online after Thanksgiving, masks required

Emma Daniel Editor-in-Chief   Troy University will be returning to campus for Fall 2020, but with mask requirements, social distancing guidelines, coronavirus testing, and no return to campus after Thanksgiving break, according to a university email sent Wednesday evening. Face coverings will be required on campus in places where social distancing is difficult, such as in classrooms, labs, and communal spaces. Coronavirus: Classes moving online; campus will remain open

Troy University will move to online-only classes due to the outbreak of the coronavirus COVID-19, but residence halls and dining halls will remain open to accommodate students who cannot go home. Classes will be online only from March 16 to April 5. On April 6, the university will announce how it plans to proceed. All events within this period will also be postponed or cancelled. Troy University has suspended all on campus classes effective March 16th moving to alternate delivery systems.
