Dylan Hurst Staff Writer Troy faltered late in the second half and couldn’t recover against fellow Sun Belt Conference team Georgia Southern, losing 90-82 in the Trojan Arena on Thursday night.  The Trojans couldn’t get much going from the field in the game as they shot 31-of-64 (48 percent). Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Trojans lost their stride in the second half, falling 73-59 against Sun Belt Conference foe Little Rock at the Jack Stephens Center on Friday night. Troy struggled with three-point shots on Friday, shooting only 4-of-20 (20 percent), while Little Rock shot 16-of-30 (53.3 percent) during the game. Men’s basketball falls on two-game road skid

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy men’s basketball team extended a two-game losing streak over the weekend, falling to St. Louis and Pittsburgh on the road.  In Saturday’s action, Troy (1-2, 0-0 Sun Belt) held the lead through most of the game, but a comeback by St. Louis cost Troy the win in a 62-58 loss at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.  Senior Jordon Varnado recorded a double-double, scoring a game-high 20 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Men’s golf takes 10th at Kiawah Classic

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season at the East Bay Deli Classic at the Turtle Point Golf Course on Tuesday, finishing in 10th place overall out of a field of 21 teams.  Heading into the final round, the Trojans ranked fourth. However, after an unfortunate round of 22 over par, the Trojans found themselves in 10th. Soccer falls in Sun Belt Tournament

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy soccer team won a conference rivalry game against South Alabama to finish up regular season play before falling in the Sun Belt Conference tournamnent to Texas State. The match against South Alabama was played at The Cage in Mobile, Alabama, as Troy won 1-0.  Kate Lorenz gave Troy the 1-0 lead after the game’s only goal in the 57th minute.
