Tribute paid to Troy educator

Lilly Casolaro News Editor Henry Barwood, professor of geology at Troy University, went into surgery to remove a kidney stone on Friday, Sept. 9. According to Govind Menon, professor of physics and department chair of chemistry and physics, as an aftermath of the surgery, Barwood had a pulmonary embolism, which led to his death. A pulmonary embolism is the sudden blockage of a major blood vessel in the lung, usually a blood clot, according to WebMD. Country singer to perform

Ryan Waters, a senior physical education major from Luverne, is performing in the NASH Next competition, hosted by sixty-eight of the WLWI participating stations. Enrollment up after big year

Lilly Casolaro News Editor Last year was a record-breaking year for enrollment on Troy University’s main campus. “The goal for enrollment on the Troy campus is 10,000 (students), which will require careful planning of facilities and programs,” said Clif Lusk, coordinator for university relations.
