Women’s golf places 13th at 3M Augusta Invitational

Scott Watkins Stafff Writer The Troy women’s golf team travelled to Augusta, Georgia, over the weekend to play in the 3M Augusta Invitational where it finished in 13th place. After playing just one round in late February at the Dickson Tournament in Houston, the invitational served as Troy’s official opening to the spring season. Former football players shine at Troy’s Pro Day

Scott Watkins Staff Writer The Troy football team held its annual pro day on Friday, where it showcased former Trojans in front of 26 NFL scouts and two CFL scouts. The bulk of the players who participated were recent graduates, while some graduated years ago. Of the older former players, former running back Brandon Burks participated in the workouts.
