The Trojans got off to their second 4-0 start in three years after outscoring the Skyhawks 42-9 over the span of the weekend’s four games. The victims of the deadly shooting on Feb. 14 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, are caught between two narratives as they have called for stronger gun control regulations. Michael Shipma Sports Editor The Troy softball team split its four weekend games at the Hillenbrand Invitational in Tucson, Arizona, defeating Bryant and Montana, but losing to Colorado State and another game to Montana. That tournament was followed up by a 9-6 win on Wednesday at Samford.
