Although this order was necessary and proper at the time it was made, continuing it  would be counter-productive and harmful to the state. Recording artist Halo discusses her journey as an artist and student

Coby Alexander Hannah “Halo” Littleton, a senior broadcast journalism major from Montgomery, Alabama, is a musical artist and student at Troy University. Gallery: Storm damage in Troy

Troy was battered with severe weather for a second Sunday in a row, knocking down trees and leaving many without power last night. No injuries have been reported in Pike County, according to Mayor Jason Reeves. Reeves also said “several hundred” are still without power, as of Monday afternoon. Medal of Honor recipient Bennie Adkins dies from COVID-19

Troy University alumnus and Medal of Honor recipient Sergeant Major Bennie Adkins died from COVID-19 related respiratory failure. He was 86. The Bennie Adkins foundation announced on March 26 that Adkins had been hospitalized after he became critically ill with COVID-19 respiratory failure. A Vietnam War veteran, Adkins was a native of Opelika, Alabama earned his Bachelor’s degree from then-Troy State University, Montgomery in  1979 and subsequently earned two Master’s degrees from Troy.
