Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy men’s basketball team couldn’t overcome a first-half deficit and fell 68-52 against Sun Belt Conference rival South Alabama in the Trojan Arena Saturday evening.  The Trojans had problems with their shots from behind the arc, only making 6-of-22 (27 percent) after attempting to adapt to the Jaguars’ zone defense.  Senior Alex Hicks recorded a double-double and a season-high of 21 points alongside 13 boards during the game. Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Trojans fell 85-70 against Georgia State in Sun Belt Conference play in the Trojan Arena on Thursday night. The Trojans shot 24-of-72 (33 percent) while Georgia State completed its season sweep by shooting 30-of-64 (47 percent). Sophomore Jasmine Robinson led the team with 17 points scored on 14 attempts while going 4-of-7 from three. Men’s basketball splits home stretch

Dylan Hurst  Staff Writer The Trojans couldn’t stop Little Rock’s offense-heavy second half scoring and fell 84-70 in Sun Belt Conference play at Trojan Arena on Thursday night. Troy recorded a good shooting average in the game at 26-of-53 (49%), but Little Rock’s offense was great after entering the second half, with 22-of-28 (78%) overall and 7-of-9 (77%) on three-point shots. The Trojans have won all three of their spring matches.  Two quick wins in doubles play for the Trojans got things started early as junior Oskar Michalek and freshman Manuel Bernard defeated the No. 2 ranked A&M players 6-3.
