Abby Taylor Online Content Editor Students have come together to start Pursuit Ministries, a campus ministry created for weekly Christian prayer and worship. Pursuit was created “by students, for students,” said Davis Johnston, a junior geomatics and surveying major from Eufaula. It meets every Thursday at 9:30 p.m. in Sorrell Chapel. Resolution recognizes prayer at school events

Tu To Staff Writer Asem Abdelfattah Contributer   The Student Government Association passed a resolution supporting voluntary prayer before any University-sponsored events. This resolution was introduced in accordance with a resolution allowing the pledge of allegiance to be recited before SGA meetings. Both resolutions are customarily introduced at the beginning of each new academic year. The resolution focusing on voluntary prayer resulted in discussion among members of the SGA—many concurred while some dissented.
