Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Troy men’s golf team wrapped up its fall season at the East Bay Deli Classic at the Turtle Point Golf Course on Tuesday, finishing in 10th place overall out of a field of 21 teams.  Heading into the final round, the Trojans ranked fourth. However, after an unfortunate round of 22 over par, the Trojans found themselves in 10th. Martin leads Troy at Jim Rivers Intercollegiate

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer Troy finished in a tie for 8th out of 15 teams at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate held at Squire Creek in Louisiana. The final round on Tuesday was canceled due to heavy rain.  On the par-4, 405-yard eighth, Ike Alexander holed out, and teammate Dean Martin shot a three on the on 561-yard 17th. Futrell leads mens’ golf in Baton Rouge

Dylan Hurst Staff Writer The Trojan golf team finished play at the David Toms Intercollegiate at the University Club in Baton Rouge in ninth place overall, with Conner Futrell leading the individuals with his 13th-place finish Saturday and Sunday.    Troy recorded the third-best score in the second round after rain shortened that day’s total play.  During the third round, the Trojans shot 3-over to move past three other teams in the final standings. This competition marked the final regular season tournament for the Trojans, who now look forward to the four-day Sun Belt Conference Championship in Sandestin, Florida. Daniel Hunt Staff Writer Against the toughest competition it has faced all season, the Troy men’s golf team finished 14th on Monday at the three-day Linger Longer Invitational in Eatonton, Georgia, hosted by Kennesaw State. The tournament featured a plethora of Power Five schools such as Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia and No. 8 Alabama, who went home with the tournament victory.
