The 2015-16 Palladium, Troy University’s yearbook, will be ready for students to pick up at an event Friday featuring food, music and games.
“Palladium Madness” will take place on the Bibb Graves Quad from 6-8 p.m., featuring the Southern rock band named Double Take. Admission is free.
The 404-page yearbook — the first one printed in full color on all pages — will be available for pickup by individuals who reserved copies. Bring your student ID card.
Students can buy additional copies for $5 each (cash or check) as long as copies last. And they can reserve copies of the 2016-17 yearbook, which will be published next fall, for $5 paid in advance.
The staff is delivering copies of the 2015-16 yearbook in bulk to Greek organizations that reserved copies.
If it rains, the distribution will move to the food court area. Those who miss Friday’s distribution can visit the Palladium office on the ground floor of Wallace Hall (Room 109) or email palladium@troy.edu.
“Dimensions” — the multiple layers of Trojan life — is the theme of the 2015-16 Palladium. It contains 1,578 student portraits and hundreds of pages of photos and articles about student organizations and activities.
Sections include academics, Troy abroad, student dimensions, athletics, performing arts, student media, organizations, Greeks, portraits and university administration.
Attached to the book is the Video Palladium, a DVD that shows students in action throughout the academic year. You can also see the Video Palladium on YouTube at tinyurl.com/troypalladium-2015-16.
Davis Gamble was editor-in-chief of the student staff that produced the 2015-16 yearbook, which is the 105th volume. Morgan Graham was business manager, and Haley Greathouse edited the Video Palladium.
For 2016-17, Candice Butts is editor-in-chief, Hannah Stone is business manager and Sarah Singleterry is editing the Video Palladium.
