On Friday, April 7, Fruit relieved Logan Ross in the fourth inning. This was a spectacular Friday for Fruit, recording nine strikeouts in 4.2 innings of work. The Trojans started Sunday morning off against Texas State. The Trojans were able to successfully beat Texas State 5-2. Javon Osbourne finished at the top of the leaderboard for men’s shot put and discus. Osbourne and his teammate Anthony Symile went against each other in, not one, but two competitions in discus and shot put.
