Gabe Sadetsky Staff Writer  Troy men’s basketball team fell at home to Arkansas-Little Rock Thursday, Feb. 27, in a low-scoring struggle, 62-55. The game saw the men of Troy have one of their best defensive performances of the season, only to have it haunted with 20 team turnovers. Troy’s leading scorer, senior forward Tevin Calhoun, fouled out with over seven minutes left in the second half and ended the day with 16 points. Women’s basketball defeats UALR for the first time in program history

Gabe Sadetsky Staff Writer Troy women’s basketball downed the Trojans of Arkansas-Little Rock at home this past Wednesday, Feb. 26, 86-77. The win gave Troy its first victory over UALR in program history, due in part to an 80-plus-point performance against the Sun Belt’s best defensive team. Senior guard Joanna Harden led the team in scoring yet again, reaching 33 points while shooting 23-of-26 from the free-throw line.
